As a forward-thinking global logistics company with a strong emphasis on innovation, technology, and operational excellence, is on the hunt for a Lead Software Developer with at least 7 years of experience. As a Lead Software Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack, driving innovation, and mentoring other developers. You will be working full time. We are open to a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. We have a team locally in Cebu, and Manila and various global sites – and the global team continues to grow. Your role is integral as a leader in DAI Post’s software development capabilities.
Here’s what you will doing:
• Lead and guide a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and efficient full-stack solutions.
• Mentor other developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Here’s what your background looks like:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Lead Software Developer, Development Manager, or Principal Developer, preferably in the logistics or ecommerce industry.
• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).
• Experience with logistics and e-commerce systems is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in system design and documentation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem solving, coordination and customer service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, and similar solutions such as Dynamics 365 would be highly desirable
• Experience with reporting and BI tools such as PowerBI.
• Experience with global ecommerce logistics operations is a plus.
• Experience with DevSecOps and ITIL methodologies.
