About the Role — Early Childhood Teacher
As an Early Childhood Teacher at Curiosity Tree, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners, ensuring their development and well-being in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programmes for children aged 3.5–5 years
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity
• Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers on their development
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices
• Maintain accurate records of children’s activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Foster positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Passionate, reliable and loves working as part of a team
• Warm and caring with a genuine love of children and their development
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Skilled at building respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Excited to bring their energy and enthusiasm every day
What You Bring
✔ A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent)
✔ Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certification
✔ Understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
✔ A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
