As we continue to grow, we are looking for Fulltime Forklift Drivers to join our team on the AM shift at our Moorebank site.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• LF Forklift License
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to OHS regulations.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Linehaul Loading Operations
• Successfully demonstrate understanding of Mass Management
• Successfully demonstrate understanding of Load Restraint Guidelines
• Enthusiastic and energetic team player

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure all inbound and/or outbound freight is:

1. Accurately scanned, matched, sorted, and placed safely into correct locations.
2. Load outbound linehaul units (consolidation of freight)
3. Unload and/or loaded safely with zero damage within set time limits.
4. Compliant with legislative requirements with regard to load mass.
5. Compliant with Chain of Responsibility including appropriate load restraint.

• Match freight and connotes to ensure no miss-sorted or miss-loaded freight.
• Report all incidents of damage, shortages, split consignments, etc. to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Ensure the yard is kept organised and tidy.
• Work toward a target of zero near-miss incidents or accidents.
• Contribute to shared goals and work effectively as part of a team.
