The Role

Purchasing and inventory management at CPH Group goes well beyond placing orders- it’s about forecasting demand, managing risk, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and ensuring the business is positioned for sustainable growth.

We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Purchasing & Inventory Officer to manage inventory forecasting, purchasing coordination, and end-to-end inventory control. This role is critical in supporting CPH Group’s growth while optimising stock levels, improving supply chain efficiency, and controlling costs.

You’ll work closely with local and overseas suppliers, freight partners, warehouse operations, sales, marketing, and leadership to ensure inventory strategy aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Forecasting

    Own all inventory control activities within NetStock / NetSuite Forecast supply and demand to maintain optimal inventory levels and support sales targets Track inbound and outbound stock to minimise overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS) risks Monitor inventory performance, including SLOBs, stock turns, fill rates, and quality metrics Develop, implement, and continuously improve inventory systems, processes, and controls Coordinate with the Warehouse Team Leader to implement quality measures for inbound stock

Purchasing, Logistics & Supplier Coordination

    Manage purchase orders, supplier pricing records, and supplier master data Coordinate with overseas suppliers regarding production schedules, lead times, and order status Monitor supplier production progress, customs clearance, and delivery timelines Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure cost-effective logistics and accurate customs documentation Stay informed on global supply chain conditions and proactively manage potential impacts on the business

Reporting, Analysis & Continuous Improvement

    Analyse supply chain and inventory data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities Generate purchasing, pricing, and inventory performance reports Maintain accurate records across purchase orders, suppliers, and inventory systems Monitor supply chain performance against agreed KPIs Produce regular and ad hoc reporting for the Leadership Management Team Contribute to broader business strategy from a supply chain and inventory perspective

About You

You’re detail-oriented, commercially minded, and thrive in a role where accuracy, accountability, and proactive problem-solving are valued. You’ll ideally bring:

    Proven experience with overseas suppliers in an Import / Wholesale Supply Chain environment Strong technical skills with inventory and forecasting systems NetSuite and/or NetStock experience highly regarded Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities A collaborative approach and strong relationship-building skills
