The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines strong product thinking with deep UX expertise to deliver high-impact, customer-centric experiences – fast.
You’ll help shape Coviu’s platform, working across squads to solve complex problems, experiment quickly, and ship quality solutions that improve workflows for practice managers, clinicians, and patients.
This role suits someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is excited to leverage AI to improve both product and design workflows.
In this role, you will:
- Lead design across multiple product squads, driving a cohesive end-to-end experience across user journeys, interaction patterns, and design decisions.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to deeply understand customer problems, shaping solutions that deliver real, measurable outcomes.
- Translate complex user needs into simple, intuitive, and scalable experiences that are shipped and actively used by customers.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs, and validate them through continuous user research, usability testing, and rapid iteration.
- Take ownership of the full design lifecycle – from discovery and research through to prototyping, validation, and delivery.
- Operate with a strong bias for action: rapidly explore multiple directions, prototype, test, and iterate to deliver value quickly.
- Proactively engage with customers to generate insights that inform product direction—not just validate decisions.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to refine solutions, balancing design quality with technical feasibility and speed of delivery.
- Identify and integrate opportunities to leverage AI in both product experiences and design workflows to improve quality and velocity.
- Communicate your design thinking clearly, influencing stakeholders and ensuring teams stay focused on the highest-impact problems.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system, creating reusable patterns and components that enable consistency and scalability across teams.
- Champion strong UX principles and elevate design quality across the product and wider organisation.
- Support and enable other team members by sharing best practices, guidance, and design thinking.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer in a SaaS or technology environment. Experience working in healthcare or regulated industries is advantageous
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX thinking and shipped product outcomes
- Track record of working across multiple teams or squads in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma (or similar)
- Exceptional UX judgment: able to simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences
- Strong problem-framing skills and ability to explore multiple solution paths
- Comfortable balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints to drive product outcomes
- Experience working with or designing AI-powered features or tools
- Curiosity and hands-on experience using AI to improve design workflows and outcomes
- Enjoys speaking directly with users and uncovering real-world problems
- Experience running research, testing and validation independently
- Strong belief in evidence-based design and continuous learning
- Bias for velocity and iteration over perfection
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
- Highly collaborative and effective communicator
- Strong ownership mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes, not just design artefacts
