About CCEA

The Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA) Ltd is an independent Not-for-Profit Organisation which is a nationally and internationally recognised quality and standards organisation. CCEA is responsible for ensuring competency and high education standards in chiropractic for the Australasian region. Appointed by the Chiropractic Board of Australia, under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (2009), the CCEA undertakes accreditation of chiropractic education programs, and conducts qualification and skills assessment for migration and registration.

CCEA is a small organisation that prides itself on delivering exceptional services by a small team. The Executive Officer is a pivotal role in managing the strategic direction set by the Board, culture, compliance, risk, finance, and governance of the organisation.

You will report to the Chair of the Board of Directors and work closely with the chairs of the Accreditation Committee, Chiropractic Overseas Assessment Committee and the Finance Risk and Audit Committee.

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of governance in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Effective management and delivery of the Board and organisations goals and targets.
  • High level oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively, positively engage with stakeholders and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated understanding of effective management of financial and operational resources, including budgeting, financial reporting, and audit processes.
  • Demonstrated risk management with an ability to protect the overall integrity of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the education and/or health sectors, having experience in, or a capacity to develop understanding of health professional regulation and accreditation.
  • Capability to effectively prioritise tasks, manage time and work to deadlines.
