Across six generations, the business has evolved alongside drinking culture, with a constant focus on quality, integrity, deep category knowledge and long-term brand partnerships.  We represent premium domestic and international producers, operate across key national retail and on-premise channels, and are entering a new growth phase — rebuilding our spirits heritage, expanding private label, and strengthening our commercially driven wine portfolio.  This role sits at the centre of that growth.  The Opportunity  This is a hands-on role for someone early in their marketing career who wants real responsibility, commercial exposure and the chance to help build a portfolio, not just maintain brands.  You’ll work directly with senior commercial leaders to bring new products to market, drive activation across customers and build brand presence from the ground up.  If you’re hungry, fast-moving and excited by growth, this is the kind of role that accelerates a career.  Role Purpose  To execute marketing, brand activation and digital activity that supports portfolio growth, product launches and commercial priorities across wine and spirits.  Strategy is set by the Head of Trade; your job is to bring it to life with pace, quality and impact.  Key Responsibilities  Campaign & Brand Activation  – Execute product launches, promotions and seasonal programs – Support supplier activations and customer campaigns – Assist in tracking campaign effectiveness and basic performance reporting – Roll out trade initiatives that drive sell-through Digital & Content  – Manage social media channels and content calendar – Create short-form content (imagery, video, stories) – Update website content and product information Sales Enablement  – Create digital flyers and collateral using existing templates – Support sales team with up-to-date brand assets and tools – Support supplier marketing budget coordination where applicable Events & Experiences  – Coordinate tastings, trade events and brand activations – Support event logistics and materials – Support activation planning across key accounts What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)  – Product launches delivered on time and commercially aligned – Social and digital channels increasingly trade-relevant and engaged – Sales team actively using marketing collateral – Activations executed seamlessly and within budget – Private label brands supported with consistent market presence – Improved visibility and professionalism across brand communications What We’re Looking For  This role suits someone early in career who is energetic, commercially curious and ready to own outcomes.  You’ll ideally bring:  – 1–3 years experience in marketing, brand, digital or activation – Strong Canva or similar design tool capability – Comfort creating content and managing socials – Excellent organisation and follow-through – Willingness to learn the commercial side of the drinks industry – Experience and interest in wine, spirits or premium brands Why This Role Is Different  – Real ownership — not just assisting – Direct exposure to senior commercial strategy – Hands-on building of brands and new portfolio – Fast learning curve – High trust and autonomy – Premium category with strong growth ambition Reporting Line  Reports to the Head of Trade, working closely with Sales and the General Manager.
