Our national structure is made up of our head office including national sales managers and trainers, our national retail team of Beauty Consultants and Advisors, and our Warehouse team.

Due to company growth and future expansion plans, we now have a newly created position for you to make your own.

Working alongside our HR Generalist, you will own the Employee Experience with a core focus on recruitment and building / maintaining talent pipelines, inductions and onboarding, day to day HR activities, and health and safety alongside the HR Generalist and our outsourced WHS provider.

This role is perfect for a Recruiter or junior Talent Advisor wanting to move into the HR space or a HR Co-ordinator or Advisor who wants to focus on EX.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking end to end recruitment activities across both permanent and casual vacancies,
  • Working to build and engage a pool of future talent for our roles
  • Managing our intern program (a number of whom have joined our permanent team over the years)
  • Maintaining and delivering our induction program (your first project is to build a new modern induction program for us – get creative!)
  • Acting as the Return to Work Coordinator, managing Work Cover claims and supporting injured team members on their return to work journey
  • Working with the HR Generalist and our outsourced WHS provider to continually manage and improve WHS across all areas of the business
  • Assisting with arranging internal events such as our half yearly conference, Christmas parties and so on
  • Jumping in to support the Payroll Officer and process the casual pays when they are on leave
  • And working across general HR in all areas relating to your ability and the business needs.

Who you are:

Ideally you will have:

  • Confidence in current recruitment processes and be able to prove your knowledge of a standard end to end recruitment process.
  • Some experience in general HR and/or WHS is preferred
  • Ideally you will have had exposure to payroll and you should be able to read and interpret legislation and awards
  • You thrive on continuous improvement and are consistently seeking a better / more effective way to complete tasks, but have the patience to know we can’t change everything today
  • You are confident and can manage other’s expectations in a positive and professional way
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and are great at building relationships but are always conscious that your role requires confidentiality and impartiality.
  • You know your way around a spreadsheet and would test at Intermediate + Word and Excel.
  • If you have qualifications in HR, WHS, Law or related fields that is a bonus but your experience and ability count for much more.

  • Salary will be based on your experience is up to a package of $100,000.
