Yard Tug Driver AM Shift

Coolway Trans, a leading family-run business in refrigerated transport, due to operational growth, is seeking an AM Yard Tug Driver to support our morning transport operations in Glendenning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating truck and trailer movements within the yard
• Positioning trailers for inbound and outbound freight
• Loading rigid vehicles for local delivery runs
• Assisting drivers with parking and staging vehicles
• Conducting trailer and equipment checks
• Maintaining safe traffic flow within the yard
• Communicating with operations and warehouse teams
• Ensuring the yard remains organised and safe at all times
• Supporting loading and dispatch operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous yard experience
• Current MC Licence
• Forklift licence advantageous
• Strong safety awareness
• Ability to work independently during AM operations
• Reliable with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills

Job Details:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, start between 4 am and 6 am.
• Casual Rate: HC $45 per hour during probation.
• Permanent Rate: HC $43
• Overtime Meal Allowance: $20.32
• Location: Glendenning NSW 2761
