Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our maintenance team in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential properties. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and functionality of plumbing systems, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Rough in and fitoff bathrooms and kitchens
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential properties.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues to determine the best course of action.
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing calls in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain plumbing issues and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent training.
  • Valid plumbing licence in the Australian Capital Territory.
  • Proven experience as a journeyman plumber.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.

Pay Rate

45 AUD – 55 AUD (Hour)
