The Role: As our Account Manager, you’ll lead the strategic management of a major supplier relationship, ensuring high quality service delivery, strong commercial outcomes and alignment with business objectives. Reporting to the Executive General Manager Strategy, Design & Technology, you’ll play a key role in maintaining trusted partnerships, driving performance and identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. You will:
- Act as the primary relationship manager for a major supplier, developing strategic account plans aligned with COEX’s goals.
- Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and lead regular reviews.
- Support contract lifecycle management and ensure compliance.
- Partner with the business to identify and manage incidents, risks and opportunities across the business-wide services.
- Drive initiatives for innovation and sustainability within supplier relationships.
Who You Are: Our values are at the heart of our culture. We’re looking for people who share these and are eager to be part of a team that brings them to life. You share our passion for sustainability and bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in supplier relationship management.
- Experience working with large and complex commercial agreements.
- Proven ability to engage confidently with IT suppliers, leveraging technical understanding to influence decisions, ensure alignment with business needs and drive high quality outcomes.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to build strong, effective partnerships.
- Commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of commercial constructs and a strategic mindset.
- Experience managing performance metrics, service levels and contractual obligations.
- Understanding of project environments and cross functional delivery.
- Ability to travel interstate and hold a current QLD driver’s licence.
- Eligibility for a Blue Card and ability to maintain a satisfactory criminal history check.
