Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Co-ordinator to work with our architectural team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project quality through the use of a project-specific Project Plan, establishing good working relationships with all stakeholders, and ensuring high levels of communication throughout projects. In addition, the role requires a skilled Revit technician with solid experience using this platform and a focus on construction detailing and preparation of quality documentation.

Skills:

– Skilled Revit technician

– Excellent construction detailing skills

– Strong knowledge of building materials, their function and physical properties, and construction methods

– Good working knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of architecture

– Basic knowledge of structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering as related to buildings

– Ability to creatively portray architectural elements as a complete design

– Excellent oral and written communication skills

– Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with clients

Responsibilities:

1. Manage project quality through the use of a project-specific Project Plan.

2. Establish good working relationships with all stakeholders.

3. Ensure high levels of communication operate throughout projects.

4. Report regularly to Project Director/Leader regarding progress on projects.

5. Seek assistance/advice immediately if project quality is imperiled so that appropriate actions may be implemented to restore quality.

6. Collate technical building information from architects.

7. Investigate factors that affect building developments including user needs, site surveys & regulatory requirements.

8. Monitor designs for health & safety contributing risk assessments where required

9.Coordinate detailed design information

10.Prepare specifications for construction work

11.Prepare drawings plans & documents for statutory approvals

12.Contribute towards meetings & document preparation

13.Research new design processes; building legislation& technology.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field required

2.Minimum 5 years’ experience in architectural design or equivalent

3.Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and other related software

4.Ability to work well in a team environment

5.Excellent organizational and time-management skills

6.Strong attention to detail
