Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and client‑focused Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage key client relationships, oversee debt recovery strategies, and ensure exceptional service delivery. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients while working closely with internal collections teams to achieve recovery targets and deliver accurate, timely account insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture client relationships to maintain strong satisfaction and trust.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client queries, escalations, and reporting.
  • Prepare clear, data‑driven account progress reports ahead of client meetings to support discussion and insights.
  • Oversee the implementation of debt recovery strategies in line with client objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor account performance, track KPIs, and provide regular analysis and insights to clients.
  • Liaise with internal collections officers and legal teams to resolve complex accounts.
  • Support client onboarding and contract renewals by identifying needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, retention, and growth within client portfolios.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, codes of practice, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with management to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in account management, debt collection, financial services, or client services (essential).
  • Highly desirable experience with Debtrac or similar account management systems.
  • Strong understanding of collections processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long‑term client relationships.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in utilising collections software and reporting tools to analyse account data.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with collections software is desirable.
