As a Web Developer at Cohort Staffing, you will join a driven team that is committed to providing innovative digital experiences. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Interpreting relational database schemas to comprehend the underlying business logic.
· Writing clean, maintainable code that solves complex problems.
· Conducting thorough code reviews, evaluating test cases, and ensuring proper documentation to maintain high-quality software delivery.
· Applying fundamental UI/UX principles.
· Ensuring comprehensive project documentation is maintained for clarity and continuity.
· Develop and maintain websites using modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
· Ensure websites are responsive, optimised for performance, and compatible across browsers and devices.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
· Planning, prototyping and testing all required updates and new designs.
· Implementing tracking tools such as Google Analytics or Tag Manager.
· Collaborating with graphic designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive web presence.
· Stay updated on industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance our web presence.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
· Relevant experience of at least 1 year and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
· Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework/library.
· Familiarity with back-end development (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python, or .NET) is a plus.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The position reports to the GM Operations.
SALARY
$75,000 – $90,000 per annum FTE (based on qualifications and experience)
WORKING HOURS
Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
