Summary
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Community Support Workers to join Coastal Supports WA. You will deliver person-centred support to NDIS participants across Perth, helping them with daily living, personal care, community access, and achieving their goals. Shifts vary across mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnights.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support (e.g. showering, dressing, meal prep, light household tasks)
- Support participants with community access, social and recreational activities
- Safely transport participants to appointments and outings
- Follow care plans, behaviour support plans, and NDIS goals
- Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and communication logs in ShiftCare
- Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in every interaction
- Uphold professional boundaries, confidentiality, and Coastal Supports WA policies
Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWC)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Driverβs licence & reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Full working rights in Australia
- Completion of required NDIS online modules (Hand Hygiene, Orientation, Effective Communication, Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals)
Desirable
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- Experience with behaviours of concern or restrictive practices
- Familiarity with ShiftCare or similar client management systems
