What you’ll do
This support role is vital in delivering professional, client-centric financial advice and supporting the Advice Team to achieve superior client outcomes. This position is responsible for engaging with both new and existing clients, developing tailored financial strategies, managing the advice production process, and ensuring all work aligns with licensee and industry compliance standards. Working closely with senior advisers, the Associate Adviser provides day-to-day support across advice delivery, documentation, and client service, while utilising Wealth Central to its full potential. As part of the Professional Year program, the Associate Adviser will undertake supervised adviser activities including strategy development, advice production, advice presentation, and ongoing client service, to build the skills and experience required to progress to a Financial Adviser role.
Responsibilities also include maintaining the company’s client base, identifying opportunities to broaden advice scope, managing Fixed Term Service Agreement clients, and completing all Professional Year requirements such as logging hours, submitting documentation, and attending supervision meetings. Throughout all activities, the Associate Adviser is expected to demonstrate professionalism, uphold CAG’s culture, and contribute to business development initiatives that enhance client relationships and support organisational growth.

- Ability to clearly communicate the value of financial advice and proactively engage both existing and prospective clients to understand and meet their needs.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and industry contacts through phone, email, and written documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to consistently deliver high-quality, compliant advice.
- Embrace and model CAA’s culture, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Meet ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements set by the licensee, RI Advice Group Pty Ltd.
- Hold a relevant university degree or equivalent qualification.
- Complete all required Professional Year training and development as outlined by the licensee.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
