Coordinator to join our passionate team on the Central Coast.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Logistics Coordinator to
join our team.
The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing and coordinating the company’s export
operations across sea and air freight, ensuring all shipments meet regulatory,
quality, and customer requirements. Acting as a subject matter expert in
international logistics, this role supports the Logistics Manager by taking
ownership of complex export activities, liaising with internal and external
stakeholders, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation, dispatch, and
tracking of outbound goods.
The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for monitoring export performance metrics, resolving
transport issues, and identifying process improvements to support efficiency,
compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role may also assist with the
onboarding and mentoring of junior export staff and contribute to continuous
improvement initiatives within the logistics function.
The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Logistics Manager and has no
direct reports.
Duties
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end export operations, including
booking, scheduling, documentation, and dispatch of shipments via sea and air.
- Prepare, review, and finalise export documentation in
accordance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Liaise directly with freight forwarders, growers, internal
teams, and international customers/consignees to ensure timely and compliant
shipments.
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs
clearance procedures, and quality assurance requirements.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing proactive updates to
stakeholders and resolving any delays or disruptions.
- Review and verify freight invoices and charges to ensure
accuracy and alignment with contractual terms.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, compliance documents,
and communications in internal systems.
- Identify and escalate risks or non-compliance issues to the
Logistics Manager as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Suppliers, etc.)
to coordinate order fulfilment and dispatch priorities.
- Assist with wine export activities and ensure documentation
meets destination country requirements.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an export/logistics
coordination role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of international trade, export
documentation, and customs processes.
- Experience handling shipments of perishable or
temperature-sensitive goods, such as fresh produce or wine (highly regarded).
- Proven ability to coordinate complex shipping schedules,
resolve logistics issues, and manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards for document
accuracy and compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience
managing external service provider relationships.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing
business needs.
- Available to work with our on-site team in Gosford, NSW, 5
days a week.
- Flexible to work overtime hours both weekdays and
weekends during the peak season from November to February.
