The club has recently undergone a $12.5 million food and beverage upgrade including a new commercial kitchen and premium pizza kitchen, a charming Italian café and bar, new sports and TAB viewing area, and dining space to suit all parties.
Club Marconi is home to the Marconi Stallions who currently compete in the NSW NPL. Our Football Program is rich in history with Juniors, SAP, Youth, Women’s, and Men’s teams. In addition to our Football Program, we offer a range of sporting activities including Rugby League, Netball, Bocce,
Snooker and Billiards, Softball, Cricket, Fencing, Tennis and Squash. We really are the hub of sport in the community.
We are offering a permanent full-time position to a Restaurant Manager who would like to work in the newly renovated F&B precinct, providing quality food offerings.
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, observant, and eager to grow within Club Marconi. Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public
holidays, is essential. .
The duties include:
- Oversee and coordinate the operations of the new restaurant, managing both front-of-house activities.
- Foster a positive culture by leading, training, and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
- Develop strategies to achieve business performance goals and optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory, orders, and supplies to meet the demands of a busy restaurant environment.
- Act as the public face of the Food and Beverage area, handling customer inquiries and addressing any concerns or complaints.
About you:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in the Hospitality or Clubs industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a team to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and staff.
- Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and licensing regulations in the food and beverage industry.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Must have:
- Completed a Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
- A current Food Handling Certificate is required.

- RCG
- Italian speaking would be an advantage
