Marketing and Events Coordinator

The role:

Reporting to the Executive Manager Industry Engagement and Membership Services, the Marketing and Events Coordinator supports CCF Victoria’s marketing and communications strategy.

You will amplify our voice, drive brand presence and develop innovative campaigns to ensure communications resonate with diverse audiences. This role delivers CCF Victoria’s marketing functions across various channels to enhance member and industry engagement and enhance the profile of our services.

Civil Contractors Federation Victoria (“CCF Victoria”) is the peak industry body supporting and representing civil contractors across Victoria. With almost 500 contractor and associate members and as an Industry Registered Training Organisation (RTO 3704), CCF Victoria is dedicated to empowering the civil community.

We are looking for someone who is a creative and results-driven professional with a passion for amplifying brand voice and driving member engagement. You excel at developing innovative campaigns and have a proven ability to ensure communications resonate with diverse audiences.

With a strategic mindset, you are champion at managing various channels to enhance our profile of services and industry engagement. You are a collaborative communicator who is ready to support the delivery of CCF Victoria’s marketing and communications strategy, ensuring our brand presence remains strong and impactful.

To be considered for this role you will have:

·        Two (2) years’ minimum experience in marketing or communications, with demonstrated examples of working for employers or clients, producing communications and collateral.

·        Storytelling and creative writing capability

·        Sound project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·        Excellent English language, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders.

·        Experience with CMS, digital and print publishing

·        A collaborative mindset with problem-solving skills; strong task-prioritising and time management abilities

·        Proficiency across digital and multimedia technologies, including video production and software applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and others).

·        Exceptional customer service delivery

·        Event presentation technical skills, including some AV knowledge

·        Current driver’s licence

·        Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain one)

You will ideally have:

·        A knowledge of the civil construction industry, terms used, industry information sources.

·        Experience in writing communications and developing creative content for the civil construction sector or related industries.

·        Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business communications or a similar field.

Location

The Marketing and Events Coordinator role will be based at our office at 9 Business Park Drive, Notting Hill. The role also requires travel for attendance and support of major functions and events at key times around the year.
