Garment Technician

THE GIG:

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Garment Technician to join our Support Office team in Byron on a Casual basis.

This role will be responsible for supporting our Garment Technician through assisting with size specifications along with participating in fittings and alterations for men’s and women’s styles. This role will work closely with our Designers and Product Developers to work to deadlines and business timelines.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role with a similar brand
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Illustrator skills
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• High level of attention to detail
• A willingness to learn
• A positive energetic attitude with a passion for the industry

The role will involve:

• Assisting with size specifications and maintaining the continuity of fit
• Assisting in the coordination of fittings and fit models
• Measuring samples for fittings
• Assisting to resolve garment issues
• Communicating to suppliers to ensure deadlines are met
