Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team in North Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and providing insights to support business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies that drive business growth within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Develop and implement data quality and data governance processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualisation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data modelling, and data visualisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and other data analysis tools
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
