About the role
Allied Dental Cockburn is a busy, well-established practice with a strong patient base and a clinical team that genuinely cares about the quality of work they deliver. We’re looking for a Practice Manager who can walk into a functioning practice and make it better — not by fixing what’s broken, but by raising the ceiling on what’s possible.

What you’ll actually be doing
You’ll be the operational heartbeat of the practice — managing the day-to-day, supporting the team, and holding the line on standards. That includes:
- Leading and developing front desk and support staff
- Managing schedules, recalls, and patient flow to keep the practice running at capacity
- Monitoring KPIs and identifying when things are drifting before they become problems
- Maintaining a culture where everyone — including the practice owners — is held to agreed standards whilst genuinely enjoying being at work and being part of this great team
- Acting as the first point of escalation for team issues, patient concerns, and operational gaps
- Working closely with Allied Dental’s HQ team, who provide genuine support in HR, marketing, finance, and compliance
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll have the backing of an experienced operations team and a structured support network — but you will need to be the one who owns the practice environment.
What we’re looking for
The non-negotiables are straightforward: you’ve managed a team before, you’re not rattled by conflict, and you hold yourself to the same standard you hold others.
Beyond that, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in dental, medical, or allied health practice management (preferred, not essential)
- Understands that culture is built through daily behaviour, not posters on a wall
- Can build trust with clinicians without losing objectivity
- Is comfortable having direct conversations — with staff, with owners, with anyone – but ensuring the person feels heard and respected
- Brings energy and stability in equal measure
