About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated MSI-C1 Trade Assistant / Trainee Inspector to support our growing operations in Karratha. This is an entry-level pathway role designed for individuals wanting to build a long-term career in Lifting and NDT inspection services. Full training, mentoring, and structured progression are provided.
What you’ll be doing
- Learn the limitations, correct applications, and fundamentals of each inspection method.
- Assist in turning codes, standards, and procedures into practical on‑site inspection steps.
- Support equipment setup, verification, and basic inspections under supervision.
- Carry out inspection and testing tasks with appropriate guidance.
- Assist in interpreting results and preparing inspection reports.
- Support compliance requirements (NATA, ISO, etc.) during field work.
- Work toward long‑term capability for NATA signatory responsibilities.
- Follow Centurion policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct at all times.
What we’re looking for
- Karratha-based with full Australian working rights.
- Dogging Licence (required or able to obtain)
- Working at Heights (required or able to obtain)
- Construction White Card (desirable)
- Will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including Jaegar #1 near-vision and colour vision testing.
- Willingness toward PCN Level 2 certifications post-probation (ECI, MPI, DPI; UTT desirable)
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PDF).
- Good English communication skills.
- Reliable, honest, and committed to doing teh right thing even when unsupervised.
- Willing to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively with the team.
