About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Accountant to join our dynamic team in O’Connor, Western Australia. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in the accountancy field.

What you’ll do

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, staff expenses, and credit control
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, journals, and month-end close activities
• Maintain asset registers and support stocktakes, inventory reconciliations, and record keeping.
• Oversee vehicle and operational administration, including registrations, fuel cards, and servicing records
• Reconcile GST and PAYG accounts and support compliance with Australian accounting and tax requirements
• Provide accurate financial and administrative support to the finance team and the wider business
• Maintain contract registers and ensure activities comply with internal policies and Quality Management Systems

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (completed or near copletion)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliations
• Good Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role (will be advantageous)
• Experience with an Australian accounting system (MYOB, Reckon etc.) (desirable)
• Exposure to GST, BAS, or ATO reporting (desirable)
• Studying or intending to study CPA or CA
• Full Australian Working Rights
