The Role
The Dispatch & Receival Coordinator is responsible for receiving, unloading, and loading of rental equipment including other goods, accurate record keeping, and ensuring the yard is organised, safe and efficient. The role supports operational team by coordinating deliveries, operating forklifts as required, and maintaining housekeeping and safety standards.
What you’ll do
- Load and unload equipment and goods as directed by the rentals team.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods an deliveries.
- Use computer systems for receipting and basic data entry.
- Maintain accurate delivery, dispatch, and receival records.
- Coordinate freight movements, deliveries, and collections.
- Operate forklifts and other plant safely (where licenced).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment.
- Ensure compliance with WHS procedures, including correct manual handling.
- Identify damaged or non-confirming goods and report promptly.
- Support general yard, warehouse, and operational activities as required.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse or storeman role is preferred.
- Ability to follow procedures and work safely at all times.
- Basic computer skills
- Physically capable of manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual and able to work autonomously
