The Role

We are seeking a highly organised office administrator who can work independently to join our investment management business. This person will have a focus on supporting the Legal and Compliance Manager, but the role will encompass office administration duties across all facets of the business.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• preparing various business documents

• maintaining legal files and correspondence

• complete all necessary regulatory filings including to ASIC, APRA and ACNC

• physical and electronic filing

• updating contract and compliance registers

• supporting corporate meetings and other commercial processes to meet our compliance needs

• booking travel

• expense reconciliation

• facilitating annual staff compliance training and training registers

• maintaining office supplies, WPHS needs and office maintenance

• supporting the ad hoc needs of our executives

• oversee some online portals that support the running of the office.

The Candidate

You will have the following:

• Proven experience in administration roles

• Currently completing study in law (or something relevant) or experience in a previous legal role is advantageous but not necessary

• Proficiency in MS Office including experience in email and diary management and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders from all levels of an organisation.

• Be self-motivated with a desire to learn new systems, a strong work ethic, and demonstrate the ability to effectively deal with sensitive and confidential issues.

• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Capability to work autonomously and take a proactive approach to resolve potential issues.
