About the Role
As the Registered Nurse – Community Care, you will be the senior nurse responsible for supporting clients in their own homes under the Home Care Package Program and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
- This diverse and rewarding role will see you:
- Provide high-quality in-home nursing care
- Conduct client assessments to support access to appropriate services
- Develop and implement individualised care plans, including complex cases
- Provide expert clinical advice and incident response guidance
- Contribute to policy and procedure development to strengthen service delivery
- Lead and support Enrolled Nurses within your region
- This is an opportunity to combine hands-on clinical work with leadership, governance, and service improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Minimum 5 years post-registration experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current QLD C Class Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in community or aged care nursing
In addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate:

- Confidence managing complex client needs
- High-level written communication and reporting skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
