$41.44 – $44.48 per hour + Company vehicle 

Locations: Raymond Terrace and Cessnock (two positions available)

As an IEA Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting participants throughout their employment journey while leading a dedicated team to deliver high‑quality Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) services. You’ll be the connection point between participants, employers, community organisations, and internal teams promoting Castle’s services, strengthening community networks, and ensuring participants are supported every step of the way. This role suits someone who thrives on meaningful impact, enjoys building relationships, and brings strong leadership to a purpose‑driven environment. 

 

In this role you will: 

  • Support community engagement and relationship building – Strengthen Castle’s community presence by coordinating engagement activities, building relationships with employers and partners, and promoting IEA services with professionalism. 
  • Lead and support your team – Provide day‑to‑day leadership to a small team through coaching, guidance, and performance support, partnering with your Regional Manager to build a positive, high‑performing culture. 
  • Deliver exceptional participant and service outcomes – Support participants with person‑centred guidance, helping them identify goals, address needs, and progress into sustainable employment while ensuring service plans and contracts are delivered effectively 
  • Manage risk, reporting and compliance – Ensure services meet departmental, contractual, and NDIS requirements, identifying risks early and maintaining accurate reporting to support quality and compliance. 
  • Champion Castle’s culture – Promote a culture of respect, collaboration, and accountability, fostering a solutions‑focused environment that supports both staff and participants to thrive.

  • Experience supporting participants with complex needs, goal setting, or employment pathways 
  • Confidence in engaging with employers, stakeholders, and community groups 
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide, motivate, and develop others 
  • A proactive problem‑solver who enjoys finding practical solutions 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to adapt your style to suit participants’ needs 
  • Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions, and support your team in dynamic environments 
  • A willingness to represent Castle’s values in the community and act as a positive brand ambassador 
  • Degree, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent experience (5+ years) 
  • 3–5 years’ experience in case management, employment services, or supporting people with complex needs 
  • Strong knowledge of internal and external support services 
  • Ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members 
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and business systems (experience with JRL or ESS is highly desirable) 
  • Demonstrated professionalism, personal integrity, and empathy 

 

Essential Criteria: 

  • Current driver’s license 
  • Willingness to obtain a NDIS Worker Check and WWCC 
  • Alignment with Castle’s Vision, Purpose, and Values
