Disability Support Worker (Day Program & Home and Community)

Casa Services is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our Alice Springs Day Program Team! This role supports people with disabilities to build skills, maintain independence, and participate in their community through both structured day programs and in-home supports.

About the Role

Provide direct personal care and assistance with daily living. Support participation in community, social, recreational, and skill-building activities. Implement behaviour support plans and follow therapy recommendations. Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with NDIS standards. Promote choice, dignity, and independence for each client.

Key Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification or demonstrated work experience.
• Experience in disability or community services (desirable: working with complex needs, CALD, or Indigenous clients).
• Good written and verbal English proficiency with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Driver’s Licence, First Aid + CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, National Police Clearance, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses + booster).
• Right to work in Australia.

Employment Conditions

• Full-time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Classification: Social and Community Services Employee Level 3.
• Award: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award (SCHADS MA00100).
• Salary Range: $76,372 – $81,905
• Benefits: 5-week’s annual leave and salary packaging available
