Responsibilities:

We’re looking for experienced Automotive Mechanics (with RWC/Pink Slip License), to join our Melbourne team. You’ll inspect, repair, and ensure vehicles are roadworthy, meeting Cars24 high standards before delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting mechanical, electrical, and safety inspections
• Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on brakes, suspension, engines, and more
• Preparing vehicles for roadworthiness and compliance
• Performing quality control checks before handover
• Documenting all work completed for compliance and transparency
• Collaborating with operations and delivery teams to keep things moving smoothly

Requirements:

• Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (essential)
• Solid mechanical experience in a dealership or high-volume workshop (2-3 years minimum)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Great teamwork and communication skills
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Willingness to undergo a police and background check
• RWC certification (must)
