Our Brisbane operations are growing rapidly, and we’re now looking for a skilled Automotive Paint Prepper to join our high-performing refurbishment team.
The Role
As a Paint Prepper, you’ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet our premium refurbishment standards before they hit the road. Working alongside experienced painters and technicians, you’ll prepare vehicles to the highest finish quality in a fast-paced, professional workshop environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to work in a modern, high-volume refurbishment facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing vehicles for paint including sanding, masking, priming and surface preparation
- Removing trim, panels, and fittings as required before paint work
- Ensuring panels and surfaces are properly cleaned and prepped to high standards
- Supporting the paint team to maintain efficient workshop workflow
- Identifying imperfections or defects prior to painting
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with workshop standards
- Working collaboratively with technicians, detailers and workshop leaders
What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience as a Paint Prepper, Panel Shop Assistant, or Automotive Refinishing Assistant
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Knowledge of sanding, masking, priming and general paint prep processes
- A positive attitude and strong team mindset
- Current Australian driver’s licence preferred
- Full Australian working rights
