Lead Technology That Supports Safer, Smarter Swim Schools

Carlile Swim is seeking an experienced and hands-on Technical Lead to help support and scale technology across our national network of swim schools.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead day-to-day technical support operations, mentor support engineers and act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues. You will play a key role in strengthening the reliability, security and performance of our technology environment as the organisation continues to grow.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and helping teams succeed through better technology.

Today Carlile Swim operates more than 30 swim schools nationally, delivering high-quality swim education programs that help children become safer, more confident swimmers for life.

The Role:

As Technical Lead you will oversee the delivery of technical support services across the organisation while providing technical leadership to support engineers and technical resources.

Working closely with the CTO, internal teams and external partners, you will also contribute to infrastructure improvements, technology projects and operational enhancements across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership-

  • Lead day-to-day IT support delivery across sites
  • Provide technical direction and mentoring to support engineers
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Monitor support performance and identify improvement opportunities

Infrastructure and Systems-

  • Oversee deployment and lifecycle management of end-user devices including laptops, iPads and printers
  • Support site technology including connectivity, kiosks and operational systems
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration, identity management and user provisioning·      
  • Maintain IT asset registers, documentation and device standards

Projects and Improvement-

  • Work with vendors and managed service providers to resolve issues and deliver outcomes
  • Support technology projects, rollouts and system improvements
  • Develop standards, procedures and documentation to strengthen support operations

About You

You are a hands-on technical leader who enjoys solving problems and helping others succeed.

You bring-

  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 and identity management
  • Experience supporting devices, networking and site technology
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset focused on improving systems and service delivery
  • Experience working in multi-site environments will be highly regarded.
