💧 Join Australia’s most respected swim school network

Help Launch Something Special in Carseldine – Carlile Swim is opening the doors to a brand-new, purpose-built swim centre in Carseldine, and we’re building the team who will shape it from day one.

This is more than a customer service role. It’s an opportunity to be part of a founding team, set the tone for culture and service, and help create a welcoming, safe, and high-energy environment for local families. From the first family who walks through the door, you’ll play a role in establishing the experience, standards, and community connection that will define this centre for years to come. If you’re excited by the idea of being there at the beginning and helping build something meaningful, this could be your moment.

About Carlile Swim

Carlile Swim has been a world leader in aquatic education for almost 80 years. Forbes Carlile was Australia’s first Olympic swimming coach, and his wife Ursula was the only woman to serve as Head Coach of the Australian Swimming Team. Both are members of the International Swimming Hall of Fame.

Carlile Swim pioneered Australia’s first commercial swim school, built the first indoor teaching pool for toddlers, and led the way in teaching babies to swim.

It’s our people and culture that truly set Carlile apart. Today, Carlile Swim delivers more than two and a half million lessons across Australia each year.

As we continue to grow, hiring the right people and supporting them with the right tools and training remains critical to our success.

About the Role

We’re looking for Customer Experience (CX) team members to join our friendly team at Carlile Swim Carseldine.

This is a frontline role where you’ll support families throughout their swim journey. You’ll manage bookings, welcome families into the centre, respond to enquiries, and assist with day-to-day operations at reception and around the pool deck.

As part of the role, CX team members are required to also teach in the pool. You’ll begin by training and working in the Customer Experience role to build confidence in our systems, programs, and family experience. From there, Carlile Swim will support you and cover the costs of the required training and licensing, so you can confidently deliver swim lessons as part of your role.

This blended position offers variety, hands-on involvement, and the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the swim school, with strong support and clear expectations.

What’s on Offer

• Casual role with flexibility based on centre needs

• Opportunity to increase hours over time

• Structured training and support across both CX and swim teaching

• Full support with swim teacher training and licensing requirements

• Clear career progression opportunities, including CX leadership pathways

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming families and delivering warm, professional customer service

• Managing swim school bookings

• Supporting families with questions and providing solutions with care

• Assisting on the pool deck and helping maintain a safe, inclusive environment

• Teaching swim lessons once trained and qualified

• Engaging with the local community and helping create memorable experiences for our swimmers

This Could Be You If You are willing to set the P.A.C.E …

Passionate – Bring energy, warmth, and authenticity to every interaction

All In – Take ownership and commit fully to supporting families and your team

Connected – Build trust, communicate clearly, and care deeply about people

• Strong communication and multitasking skills

• Experience working with children or in hospitality/customer service (preferred)

• CPR certification and a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain

• Willingness to complete swim teacher training as part of the role

• Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to commute if required

Why Join Carlile Swim?

• Be part of the founding team of a brand-new centre
