Summary:

As a New Car Finance Specialist, you’ll be responsible for helping high-intent, ready-to-buy new car customers, both consumers and business clients, secure tailored vehicle finance solutions, along with competitive insurance options to deliver a seamless, end-to-end car buying experience.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our in-house New Car Specialists and trusted dealer network, handling qualified, warm leads as well as web-generated asset finance enquiries.

You’ll play a key role in converting demand into funded outcomes while ensuring customers feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound and make outbound finance calls to in-market, ready-to-buy CarExpert customers.
  • Manage and convert qualified finance leads.
  • Build rapport and deliver an exceptional customer experience from first contact through to settlement.
  • Provide tailored finance solutions across consumer (regulated) and commercial (unregulated) asset finance products.
  • Offer comprehensive car insurance solutions where appropriate.
  • Accurately assess customer needs, gather supporting documentation, analyse scenarios, and submit applications via approved aggregator platforms.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of lender policies, rates, and credit criteria to ensure best-fit product recommendations.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality service throughout the entire finance and insurance lifecycle, including post-settlement follow-up.
  • Ensure full compliance with NCCP, Privacy, AML, and Insurance regulations, including required disclosures and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to support an integrated, customer-first experience.
  • Proactively manage your pipeline to meet individual and team KPIs, including application volumes, approval rates, and settlement outcomes.

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Ability to obtain accreditations with all required asset finance lenders.
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience (at a minimum) specifically in asset finance broking.
  • Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer and commercial lending products, lender processes, and approval criteria.
  • Willingness to obtain insurance qualifications.
  • Proven ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Comfortable working in a digital-first, fast-paced environment using CRM systems and finance application platforms.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high-quality inbound lead flow.
