Care Worker

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Dapto, New South Wales. This part-time, permanent role is essential in providing high-quality support to individuals in need, ensuring their independence and wellbeing. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence and wellbeing through engaging activities and companionship.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
• Adapt to varied working hours and provide care in a flexible manner to meet client needs.

Qualifications:

• Qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support or related field.
• Experience in supporting client independence and wellbeing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the aged care sector is preferred.
• Strong empathy and compassion towards others.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• First Aid Certificate
