Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Officer to support the Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring team as they enter a growth phase. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional telephone and administrative support. Your responsibilities will include managing bookings, addressing patient queries, troubleshooting monitors, and facilitating the consent process with a caring and professional demeanour.

 

As part of our team overseeing the follow-up of cardiac devices, ensuring quality is paramount. You’ll promote compassionate service to both patients and staff, liaising effectively across our network. Your ability to manage workload efficiently, assess urgency, problem-solve, and conduct basic troubleshooting of monitors and smartphone apps will be key. Proficiency in using electronic medical records, remote monitoring patient management systems, and other computer technologies is essential.

 

What you’ll do:

  • First point of contact for all patient enquiries, bookings and enrolments
  • Proficiently manage administrative duties
  • Oversee electronic medical records, remote monitoring patient management systems, and other computer technology
  • Manage the administrative follow up of cardiac devices (e.g. pacemakers) including disconnected monitors.


Who you are:

  • Previous customer service or call centre experience is highly desirable with an ability to respond sensitively to patient and referrer needs.
  • Confident on phones, with a high call volume
  • Experience with Monday.com is desirable.
  • Ability to time manage, learn quickly and prioritise tasks
  • The ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal/external demands.
  • Ability to work independently from a remote location, as this role is hybrid.
