We are looking for a confident and engaging Swimming Instructor to join our team. The role centres on delivering high-quality swimming lessons while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants. You’ll work with a wide range of ages and abilities, so strong communication and a flexible teaching style are essential.

About the Role

As a Swimming Instructor, you will run individual and group lessons focusing on stroke development, confidence in the water, and essential water-safety skills. You will be responsible for creating a safe learning environment, keeping close supervision at all times, and maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver structured swimming lessons that build technique, confidence, and water safety.

Supervise participants closely and uphold all pool safety rules.

Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to help swimmers improve.

Communicate with participants, parents, and colleagues about progress or any concerns.

What We’re Looking For

Current Swimming Instructor certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all ages and skill levels.

Current CPR certification.

Ability to adjust teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.

A patient, enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
