About the Job:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join the team, reporting to the CFO. This role is responsible for the provision of strategic finance advice to the CBLA Executive and leaders to ensure strategy alignment and acceleration through sound financial budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis. You will drive continuous improvement and automation of reporting, enhancing processes, refining planning and reporting systems and deliver other ad-hoc projects.
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager you will:
- Manage, develop, design, evolve budgets and forecasts for the group of entities working closely with the CFO, Finance & Commercial Manager, Executive and other budget holders. Manage delivery of Budget and forecast presentation material for Executive, Board and Unit Holder stakeholder groups delivering effective communication and coordination of meetings and timelines
- Identify and analyse business needs through thorough financial modelling and analysis.
- Provide strategic and tactical financial advice, guidance and coaching to Executives and leaders, ensuring alignment with business function and broader organisation strategic and financial objectives.
- Provide financial services, including financial analysis & insights, budget analysis, financial reporting and financial management to BUs.
- Enhance business understanding and capability around managing financials and financial decision-making including budgeting and forecasting, margin & cost management, reporting and compliance obligations.
- Support rollout of financial reporting, dashboards and systems with business leaders to enable better financial decision making.
- Provide financial analysis support for projects, programs and business opportunities
- Acts as a key consultant and coach with interpreting financial results against the context of business operations.
- Act as a conduit between business leaders and other finance and technology teams, ensuring that business requirements are captured in the design of finance systems and data governance frameworks.
- Provide guidance, support and training to finance team and budget owners on utilising the group’s planning and reporting tools
What you bring to OET:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) and significant relevant professional experience.
- At least 10 years in financial accounting field
- Comprehensive business partnering experience
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, and senior stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to inform, persuade and negotiate successfully with a wide range of senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven advanced excel skills including macros, Power BI
- Project reporting tools such as Jira and dashboard reporting
- Leadership experience with demonstrated capability to identify and establish priorities and mentor, develop, and motivate the team to deliver value to senior stakeholders and customers.
- Experience in delivery of projects with demonstrated collaboration with companywide stakeholders
