Cafe Sydney is Hiring a Restaurant Duty Manager
Arguably Sydney’s most iconic CBD restaurant, Cafe Sydney, is located atop Custom’s House in Sydney’s Circular Quay with sweeping Sydney Harbour views. The venue is seeking hospitality professionals to join our leadership team.
We are looking for committed professionals with previous management experience in a high volume, a la carte restaurant. You must be passionate about hospitality and excellent service, goals driven and thrive from a fast-paced, fun, respectful and rewarding environment; have a minimum of 2-3 years similar experience; with exceptional attention to detail.
Our clientele is a vibrant mix of Sydneysiders from local regulars to CBD professionals, leisurely Saturday lunches, harbour city visitors and food and wine aficionados with an appreciation for the very best produce Australia has to offer.
Our wine list is multi award winning, dedicated to Australian winemakers and our menu features something for everyone, with an abundance of fresh, local seafood highlight along with our daily specials and seasonal updates.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong management experience in busy Restaurants
- Strong administration skills
- Collaborative leadership style
- Comfortability working with high expectation customers
- Positive, professional and engaging demeanor
