Are you passionate about supporting people to live independently and thrive in their communities? We’re looking for dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our team, with a strong focus on housing-based support.

About the Role:

This role offers a diverse mix of support work across both community and housing environments. A key focus is on providing consistent, person-centred support within residential housing settings, including:

Housing Support Focus

  • Day Shifts in Supported Accommodation: Assist residents with daily routines such as personal care, meal preparation, medication support, and community access. You’ll help create a stable and empowering home environment.
  • If interested in Non-Active Sleepovers, we offer generous remuneration: Provide overnight presence to ensure safety and reassurance. These shifts involve being onsite and available, but not actively engaged unless needed.
  • Routine & Stability: Build meaningful relationships with residents through regular housing shifts, contributing to their long-term wellbeing and independence.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other staff, families, and allied health professionals to deliver consistent and high-quality support.

Community-Based Support

  • Support individuals in their homes or in the community with tasks such as attending appointments, social outings, and skill-building activities.
  • Promote independence and inclusion in everyday life.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in disability and/or mental health
  • Flexibility to work across housing and community shifts, including sleepovers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding
