Merchandising Assistant (12-months fixed term)

Description

We’re seeking an inspired, brand-aligned Merchandising Assistant to join us on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to support by charlotte’s product range and bring our collections to life. In this role, you’ll help create seamless experiences for our community, support our teams in delivering on-brand and high-quality products, and embody the by charlotte spirit in everything you do.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

As a Merchandising Assistant, you will support the end-to-end production and merchandising process, ensuring our product ranges are executed accurately, on time, and in line with commercial and brand expectations. You’ll work closely with the Buyer, Production, and Planning teams, helping to coordinate collections that resonate with our customers and support business goals. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Assisting in the preparation and management of product assortments, purchase orders, and inventory trackers. 

  • Supporting the Buyer in range planning, pricing updates, and product lifecycle management. 

  • Collaborating with Production, Design, and Planning teams to ensure timely delivery of samples and finished products. 

  • Conducting quality control checks on incoming stock and production samples to maintain by charlotte’s exacting standards. 

  • Updating merchandising documents, trackers, and systems to ensure accurate reporting and smooth workflows. 

  • Helping to monitor stock levels, sales trends, and product performance to inform ongoing merchandising decisions. 

ABOUT YOU 

You’ll shine in this role if you are highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in fast-paced environments. You are a collaborative team player who supports others, embraces challenges with a solutions-focused mindset, and takes pride in delivering excellence. 

 

The ideal candidate will also have: 

  • 1–3 years’ experience in merchandising, retail operations, or a related support role. 

  • Strong organisational and communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, inventory systems, and basic reporting. 

  • A keen eye for detail and quality, ensuring products meet brand standards. 

  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work effectively with multiple teams.
