We are seeking an inspired and brand-aligned CAD Designer to translate artistic concepts into precise 3D CAD models and photo-realistic renders. This role bridges creative design and technical production, ensuring design intent is accurately realised through sampling and production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship and brand integrity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a CAD Designer, you will assist in bringing the by charlotte creative vision to life and contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. You will support product development in partnership with the Design and Planning teams and suppliers, helping shape collections that align with by charlotte’s commercial goals and brand vision.
Key responsibilities include:

- Translating hand sketches and design concepts into precise 3D CAD models and photo-realistic renders.

- Creating CAD files using best-practice modelling techniques aligned with manufacturing requirements.

- Providing technical input on component construction, functionality and manufacturability.

- Producing 3D printed prototypes and supporting the sampling process for design review and approval.

- Reviewing product samples and recommending design refinements to optimise quality and production outcomes.

- Proactively identifying and resolving development issues that may impact product quality, functionality or timelines.

- Creating high-quality product renders for Marketing and internal stakeholders as required.

- Collaborating closely with Design and Production teams to ensure CAD files translate accurately into samples and bulk production.

- Supporting post-production quality control by validating finished products against approved CAD designs and specifications.

- Maintaining an organised CAD library and development documentation to support efficient workflows and production tracking.

The ideal candidate will also have:

- A qualification in Jewellery Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.

- Proven experience in jewellery CAD design and development.

- Advanced proficiency in CAD software including MatrixGold, Rhino, ZBrush, Adobe Suite and KeyShot.

- Strong understanding of jewellery construction, materials and manufacturing processes.

- Experience preparing CAD files for production and 3D prototyping.

- High level of organisation and exceptional attention to detail.
