The Role: Store Manager (Brookvale)
You’ll be at the heart of our Brookvale store, leading a team, owning the vibe, and making sure everything runs like a dream. From sales and staffing to quality control and community engagement— this is a fun and dynamic role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the Team: Motivate, support, and coach the FOH and Barista staff to deliver great customer service, top-quality coffee and cookies, and brand standards.
- Drive Sales: Collaborate with the Retail Manager to smash sales targets, run creative promos, and boost revenue.
- Run the Show: Manage daily store operations, stock levels, and staffing with efficiency and precision.
- Champion Quality: Work closely with our bakery and barista team to maintain product consistency and freshness.
- Customer Service: Create memorable experiences that keep our customers coming back for more.
- Foster Culture: Build a fun, inclusive, and high-performing team environment that reflects the Butterboy brand.
- Stay Compliant: Oversee WHS and food safety procedures—because safety is sweet, too.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or food service (bakery or café experience a big plus!).
- At least 2 years of barista experience, including confidence in latte art, dialling in espresso and filter coffee and making specialty drinks.
- Strong organisational and people management skills.
- Confidence with numbers—experience managing sales targets, budgets, and wage control.
- Passion for great customer service and an eye for detail.
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and a love for fast-paced environments.
- Availability for a mix of weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
