Burdens is a family-owned business and a market leader in plumbing and bathroom supplies with 15 trade and showroom locations across Melbourne metro and regional Victoria.

We have a role available at our Glen Waverley Branch that would suit someone who has a passion for sales and customer service. With the right attitude and ambition, this team-based position could ultimately lead to greater responsibilities leading to branch management. We are looking for:

– Previous experience in trade counter sales or retail preferred

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deliver outstanding customer service

– Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

– Computer skills

– Valid Victorian driver’s license

Responsibilities:

– Greet trade customers and assist them with their orders

– Process orders accurately and efficiently

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the trade counter area

– Load/unload vehicle safely

– Deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner

– Participate in learning and development, customer improvement programs

– Team based effort to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
