Showroom Sales Consultant

Burdens is a market leader in plumbing and bathroom supplies with 15 trade and showroom locations across Melbourne metro and regional Victoria.

We are looking for a highly motivated Showroom Sales Consultant who will embrace this amazing opportunity to learn, grow and succeed with us!

The Position

Our Sales Consultants work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide expert product knowledge, and guide them through their product selections. Daily tasks include:

• Greet customers upon arrival at the Showroom
• Provide expert product knowledge, including features, benefits, specifications, pricing
• Guide customers through the sales process from start to finish including quotes, arranging delivery; handling returns or exchanges if necessary
• Build a strong sales pipeline and follow up with leads via phone, email or site visits
• Understand and be responsive to customer needs
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment
• Develop warm and productive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues

About You

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Confidence and experience with building relationships: suppliers, building trade and retail customers

– Highly motivated to drive sales growth and exceed expectations

– Genuine interest and familiarity with bathware and/or kitchen products

– A natural flair with interior design concepts

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
