About The Role
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Toowoomba, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting, contributing to various engineering projects that enhance infrastructure and community development. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting senior engineers and gaining valuable experience in the civil engineering field.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data for project planning and development.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Support project management activities, including scheduling and budgeting.
- Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout project execution.
- Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and bids.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
