Bunji’s mission is to empower all people to live fulfilling and independent lives. We are committed to ensuring that people living with disabilities and their carers are connected to the most effective personalised support they need… and that’s where you come in!
What and who we are looking for!
As we continue to grow, we are always on the lookout for skilled and passionate Disability Support Workers (DSWs) who can meet the diverse needs of our clients. Whether you are experienced or new to the field, we welcome applicants who share our values of respect, collaboration, and innovation.
The services we provide to support our participants with disabilities are focussed on meeting each individual’s identified goals while promoting choice and control, across a range of ages and levels of complexity. These services range from Complex Needs and Behaviours of Concern support, including personal care and manual handling, through to Social Groups and Community Participation.
At Bunji, we carefully match our workers with clients based on life experience and shared interests, whether that is hobbies, sports, or creative pursuits. Our clients are given choice and control over who supports them, including gender, age group, personality, and experience, to further enable their dignity and independence.
At present, we are particularly interested in speaking to the candidates who:
- have consistent availability throughout the week to support a variety of clients;
- are available for both active and inactive overnight shifts, as well as weekend work;
- are reliable and consistent, understanding the importance of dependable support in a 24/7 service environment.
We appreciate that everyone has commitments outside of work, and we are more than happy to roster around them, we simply ask that these are shared with us in advance so we can plan accordingly and maintain the high-quality support our clients deserve.
We have various shift patterns available, including Morning, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends and Overnights (active and inactive).
Candidates will also be required to meet the following compliance:
- Current Working With Children Check;
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- Access to reliable insured vehicle;
- Current Drivers Licence and good driving record;

- Minimum two COVID-19 vaccination doses;
