About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers (PCW) to join our team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide effective, individualised and holistic care to residents within our residential aged care facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care in accordance with individual care plans
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (e.g. personal hygiene, mobility, meals)
  • Promote residents’ independence while respecting dignity, privacy and confidentiality
  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional or behavioural condition
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Comply with Work Health & Safety requirements and report hazards/incidents
  • Participate in training, meetings and continuous improvement activities

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or IV in Ageing Support
  • Previous experience in caring for the elderly
  • NDIS Worker Clearance

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a residential aged care facility
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

In order to be considered for employment, candidates are required to provide a NDIS Workers Clearance and obtain a satisfactory pre-employment medical assessment.
