How you can play a part

The Brisbane Broncos are seeking a Content Operations Manager to lead the execution and distribution of the club’s digital content across all platforms. This pivotal leadership role sits at the centre of the Broncos’ content engine, ensuring creative ideas are delivered efficiently, produced to a high standard and distributed strategically to maximise impact.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Digital and working closely with the Creative Manager, Brand & Design Manager and Marketing Campaign Manager, this role will help shape how one of Australia’s most iconic sporting brands connects with its fans, members and community.

This is not a traditional production role, but one suited to someone who thrives on building systems and leading teams. You will be responsible for planning, prioritising and producing content by managing and mentoring a high-performing team. You will also ensure publishing is structured, strategic and aligned to audience behaviour.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the planning, prioritisation and delivery of all digital content production
  • Align resources with strategic priorities
  • Ensure high technical standards across all content outputs
  • Build internal production capability through coaching and development
  • Ensure structured cadence and balanced representation across all platforms
  • Use insights and tools to inform production priorities and content formats
  • Design and refine production workflows that improve efficiency and scalability
  • Manage external production partners and contractor engagement
  • Ensure content delivery is sustainable, prioritised and well-coordinated
  • Work closely with the Creative Manager to translate ideas into achievable production plans; partner with the Brand & Design Manager to ensure visual consistency and support the Marketing Campaign Manager to deliver revenue-driving campaigns

To be considered

To be considered for this opportunity you will have proven experience:

  • Servicing a large digital footprint in a fast-paced sporting environment
  • Driving growth on digital channels by upscaling digital content production
  • Leading a team in a high-pressure environment, engaging and empowering them through clarity of roles, tasks and expectations
  • Delivering high-quality projects within a strict timeframe
  • Strong understanding of photography, videography and editing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Confidence interpreting digital performance data and applying it to content strategy
  • Initiative, creativity and the ability to problem-solve
  • Ability to earn trust and credibility and build strong working relationships
