As a Graduate Behaviour Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with behaviours of concern in Bundaberg Central, Queensland. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify behavioural issues and develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor client progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients and their families, fostering a positive therapeutic environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance therapeutic skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or a related field.
  • Experience in a traineeship or internship within a therapeutic or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Currently studying a degree in related field
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
